The Global Elite line from Mizuno has gained a reputation as one of the most reliable and durable lines that Mizuno has to offer. Mizuno has added to this respected line by using a softer, lighter leather combined with its Counter Balance technology to keep the feel of this glove lighter than ever. The Counter Balance weight distribution will focus additional weight away from the fingers and closer to the palm. This will keep the glove feeling lighter, for quicker movements and reaction time on the field. The GXF11 is 13" in length and features Mizuno's H-web, dual post pattern. This first base pattern keeps the pocket both sturdy and deep, to secure digs out of the dirt. The shell, palm and web are composed of Mizuno's E-Lite, North American steerhide leather in all black, which is some of the lighter leather that Mizuno has to offer. But don't take the lightness of the leather as a weakness - the Global Elite line is known for durability, and when it comes to that expectation, the E-Lite leather does not disappoint. The Rolled Welting along the fingers will also provide extra support, keeping the shape of the desired pocket for longer. The hand opening features a fastback, closed design with a strapped binding. The fastback design will keep the pocket deep, while protecting part of the hand from the sting on impact. The strapped binding is held together via a D-ring, which provides quick and easy adjustments for the hand opening without sacrificing a secure hold. The Global Elite line will arrive stiff, but with some work will break-in to the desired pocket - but more importantly, hold that shape for many games to come.
